Tools and Consumables (2024)

General[]

Updated cookbooks so that they can now be deposited into the chest at Sites of Grace.

• When deposited, cookbook recipes will no longer appear in the menu, allowing players to customize their crafting menu as they see fit. This change will also improve recipe syncing with Seamless Co-op.

Flasks[]

Added flask sharing on co-op difficulties: using a Flask of Crimson/Cerulean Tears near an ally will now respectively restore their HP/FP.

Aromatics[]

The maximum amount of Aromatics able to be carried at once has been tripled, from 10 to 30. Bottle pickups now give 3 instead of 1.

Added three new perfume cookbooks and updated two old ones:

• Perfumer's Cookbook [3]: Now has the recipe for the Galvanizing Elixir as well as Ironjar Elixir.
• Perfumer's Cookbook [4]: Now has the recipe for the Rimed Spraymist as well as Acid Spraymist.
• Perfumer's Cookbook [5]: Located on the walls after the Sellia Backstreets site of grace. Contains the Stardust Elixir and Concealing Aromatic.
• Perfumer's Cookbook [6]: Located in a pit in the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds. Contains the Wraithflame Spraymist and Afflicting Aromatic.
• Perfumer's Cookbook [7]: Purchaseable from the Mt. Gelmir merchant. Contains the Feverish Aromatic and Rupturing Aromatic.

New Aromatics[]

Afflicting Aromatic[]

Releases spores that sprout into Deathroots, inflicting Death Blight.

Concealing Aromatic[]

Turns self and nearby allies invisible, reducing target priority and providing some resistance to Standard Damage.

Feverish Aromatic[]

Launches a burst of explosive spores, inflicting Madness.

Galvanizing Elixir[]

Bolster's the body with lightning, improving movement speed and Stamina Regen.

Rimed Spraymist[]

Releases a cold mist from the user's mouth, inflicting Frostbite.

Rupturing Aromatic[]

Scatters flies over a wide area that rupture into pools of blood.

Stardust Elixir[]

Lightens oneself with gravitational forces, increasing Equip Load.

Wraithflame Spraymist[]

Releases accursed flames from the user's mouth, inflicting holy damage.

Changes to existing Aromatics[]

Spark Aromatic[]

Increased damage, scaling, and hitbox size.

Increased animation speed.

• Now scales off of Arcane instead of Dexterity.
• The sparks now spread differently depending on if used next to an enemy or wall.
  • Using the Spark Aromatic when near an enemy or wall will now release the sparks in a half circle pattern around you instead of sending them all straight forward.

Uplifting Aromatic[]

Now provides a heal over time effect as well as the original attack buff. Both of these buffs are now tied to the shield it provides, and are removed when the shield is removed.

Greatly increased animation speed.

• Heal: 3.5% + 5 HP every two seconds over twenty seconds, for a total heal of 35% + 50 HP
• Physical attack boost: 1.075x -> 1.08x
• Shield damage negation: 0.1x -> 0.5x
• Shield poise boost: 1x -> 1.333x
  • These changes increase the effectiveness of the Uplifting Aromatic as a support tool, but require that players avoid getting hit to maintain the effects.

Ironjar Aromatic[]

Decreased duration and increased damage negation, now increases Poise.

Greatly increased animation speed.

• Duration: 40 seconds -> 10 seconds
• Damage negation: 0.6x -> 0.5x
• Lightning negation: 1.6x -> 1.5x
• Poise multiplier: 1x -> 2x
  • This change makes the Ironjar Aromatic more useful reactively, with the faster animation and shorter duration allowing one to use it only when they need it.

Bloodboil Aromatic[]

Decreased duration and overall effectiveness, now greatly increases Max Stamina.

Greatly increased animation speed.

• Duration: 60 seconds -> 30 seconds
• Damage negation: 1.25x -> 1.3x
• Attack power: 1.3x -> 1.2x
• Maximum stamina: 1.2x -> 1.5x
  • The Bloodboil Aromatic is less effective at melting enemies overall, but is much more effective at increasing stamina.

Poison Spraymist[]

Increased poison buildup (26 -> 40) and hitbox size + consistency. Increased animation speed.

Acid Spraymist[]

Decreased effectiveness.

• Damage reduction 15% -> 12%
• Duration 60 seconds -> 30 seconds

Increased hitbox size + consistency. Increased animation speed.

The acid debuff now stacks with other debuffs of the same type.

Greases[]

Regular greases now use the Drawstring grease animation, which has been further sped up.

• Drawstring greases have been removed from the game.

Greases now coat both weapons at the same time and they last 30 seconds (except for Shield Grease that lasts 60 seconds).

Greases are now slightly more effective on slower weapons and slightly less effective on faster weapons. See Weapons for detailed info.

"Elemental"/"Damage" Greases[]

• +7% corresponding element's AR (if there is any), then +70
  • For the stronger DLC variants (like Messmerfire Grease), it's 8% + 80.

Blood Grease[]

• +1% physical AR (if there is any), then +10
• +45 blood buildup (scales with Arcane)

Dragonwound / Dragon Communion Grease[]

• +3/4% physical AR (if there is any), then +30/40
• +10% damage to Dragon enemies

Festive Grease[]

• +6% holy AR (if there is any), then +60
• +5% rune acquisition on kill

Freezing Grease[]

• +2% magic AR (if there is any), then +20
• +50 frost buildup

Poison Grease[]

• +1% physical AR (if there is any), then +10
• +45 poison buildup (scales with Arcane)

Rot Grease[]

• +1% physical AR (if there is any), then +10
• +50 rot buildup

Soporific / Eternal Sleep Grease[]

• +1% magic AR (if there is any), then +10/15
• +1% fire AR (if there is any), then +10/15
• +45/55 sleep buildup (scales with Arcane)

Shield Grease[]

• +25% Guarded damage negation
• -25% stamina consumption while blocking
• +10% Guard Boost^{[Verification Needed]}

Pots[]

All pot consumables now have Arcane damage scaling, in addition to another stat. The base damage of throwing pots has also been increased.

Roped pots have been removed.

Greatly increased the poise damage of throwing pot items. Pot poise damage now increases with the base damage of the pot.

Significantly increased the size of Hefty Pot explosions.

Cursed-Blood Pot[]

Now Increases status build-up by 5%

Fetid Pot[]

Self Poison duration increased, self build-up decrease.

• Self duration: 30 seconds -> 270 seconds
• Self poison build up: 200 -> 100

Sleep Pot[]

• Sleep build up: 29 -> 50

Red Lighting Pot[]

• Removed, replaced with Death Lightning pot. Crafting recipe found in the same book.
• Scales with Faith/Arcane.
• Death Buildup: ^{[Verification Needed]}

Tools/Other Throwables[]

Weighty Stone[]

• Replaces the removed ability to throw Ruin Fragments.
• Crafted in batches of 5 from a single Ruin Fragment. Recipe available by default.
• Scales primarily with strength.

Sanctified Stone[]

• Weighty Stones, but dealing Holy Damage instead.
• Crafted in batches of 5 from a single Sanctified Stone. Obtained from Nomadic Warrior's Cookbook [2]
• Scales primarily with strength.

Azula Chakram & Azula Lightning Chakram[]

• The chakrams thrown by Farum Azula Beastman.
• Craftable.
• Recipes acquired via Ancient Dragon Apostle's Cookbook [5], sold by the Dragonbarrow Isolated Merchant.

Crystalian Chakram & Putrid Crystalian Chakram[]

• The chakrams thrown by Crystalians.
• Craftable.
• Recipes acquired via Glintstone Craftsman's Cookbook [9], sold by Iji the Blacksmith.

Ancestral Infant's Head[]

Added Sleep buildup on hit.

Baldachin’s Blessing[]

When held in the inventory, now boosts Equip Load by 10% (not present in vanilla) but at the cost of -10% Max HP (-5% in vanilla).

When used, now boosts Physical Damage Negation by 25% for 15 seconds (compared to vanilla's 35%) and final poise damage reduction by 50% for 15 seconds (compared to vanilla's 34%).

Call of Tibia[]

Fixed issues with the placement of the skeleton so that it more consistently faces the enemy, and increased the amount of stagger and knockback the skeleton deals.

Margit and Mohg's Shackle[]

• Both shackles now have the same range of 100 meters.
• Mohg no longer takes 20% extra damage when shackled.
• Mohg's phantom can not be shackled.

Radiant Baldachin’s Blessing[]

When held in the inventory, no longer boosts Equip Load (not present in vanilla), nor reduces Max HP (-5% in vanilla).

Is now reusable.

When used, now provides the same effect as the regular Baldachin's Blessing. Boosting Physical Damage Negation by 25% for 15 seconds (35% for 70 seconds in vanilla) and final poise damage reduction by 50% for 15 seconds (45% for 70 seconds in vanilla).

Surging Frenzied Flame[]

Greatly improved the consistency of the hitboxes by increasing their size and adding a new hitbox to the main flame itself.

Boosts Vitality by 250 points for 120 seconds.

The recipe is acquired from the new Nomadic Warrior's Cookbook [25], found in Stormveil Castle. From the Rampart Tower Site of Grace, head through the North door then turn immediately right.

Revitalizing Cured Meat is crafted from [Data Needed]^{[Verification Needed]}.

Revitalizing White Cured Meat[]

Boosts Vitality by 150 points for 240 seconds.

The recipe is acquired from the new Nomadic Warrior's Cookbook [26], located above and to the east of the Woodfolk Ruins (in a small set of lone ruins which resides on a cliff).

Revitalizing White Cured Meat is crafted from 12x Essential Alchemic, 2x Ingenious Alchemic, 10x Blighted Extract, and 10x Gory Amalgam.

Stormhoof Raisins[]

Increases Torrent's movement speed by X%, but reduces his damage negation by X%.

The recipe is acquired from the new Stable-Master's Cookbook [1], dropped by a Haligtree Knight wandering along the path through the Mistwood.

Erdbark Raisins[]

Now boosts Physical Damage Negation by 16% for 40 seconds (20% for 60 seconds in vanilla). No longer overrides other body buffs when used.

Boiled Prawn[]

Now boosts Physical Damage Negation by 12% for 60 seconds (15% in vanilla). No longer overrides other body buffs when used.

Cured Meats[]

Regular[]

Now boosts Immunity (Immunizing) / Robustness (Invigorating) / Immunity, Robustness, and Concentration (Dappled) by 250 points for 120 seconds. No longer has any status buildup upon use.

Immunizing Cured Meat is crafted from 12x Essential Alchemic, 2x Ingenious Alchemic, 10x Noxious Extract, and 10x Gory Amalgam.

Invigorating Cured Meat is crafted from 12x Essential Alchemic, 2x Ingenious Alchemic, 10x Bloody Extract, and 10x Gory Amalgam.

Dappled Cured Meat is crafted from 18x Essential Alchemic, 3x Ingenious Alchemic, 1x Miraculous Alchemic, and 10x Gory Amalgam.

White[]

Now boosts Immunity (Immunizing) / Robustness (Invigorating) / Immunity, Robustness, and Concentration (Dappled) by 150 points for 240 seconds. No longer has any status buildup upon use.

Immunizing White Cured Meat is crafted from 12x Essential Alchemic, 2x Ingenious Alchemic, 10x Scarlet Extract, and 10x Gory Amalgam.

Invigorating White Cured Meat is crafted from 12x Essential Alchemic, 2x Ingenious Alchemic, 10x Rimed Extract, and 10x Gory Amalgam.

Dappled White Cured Meat is crafted from 18x Essential Alchemic, 3x Ingenious Alchemic, 1x Miraculous Alchemic, and 10x Gory Amalgam.

Exalted Flesh[]

Now boosts Physical Attack Power by 10% for 60 seconds (20% for 30 seconds in vanilla). No longer overrides other body buffs when used.

Exalted Flesh is crafted from 14x Essential Alchemic, 1x Miraculous Alchemic, 16x Gory Amalgam, and 7x Blazing Substance.

Gold-Pickled Fowl Feet[]

Now boosts Rune Gain by 15% for 300 seconds (30% for 180 seconds in vanilla).

Gold-Pickled Fowl Feet are crafted from 13x Essential Alchemic, 3x Ingenious Alchemic, 12x Golden Amalgam, and 1x Four-Toed Fowl Foot.

Silver-Pickled Fowl Feet[]

Now boosts Item Discovery by 100 points for 300 seconds (50 points for 180 seconds in vanilla).

Silver-Pickled Fowl Feet are crafted from 13x Essential Alchemic, 3x Ingenious Alchemic, 12x Silvery Amalgam, and 1x Four-Toed Fowl Foot.

Pickled Turtle Neck[]

Now boosts Stamina Regen by 80 points for 60 seconds (100^[adjusted] points for 60 seconds in vanilla).

Pickled Turtle Neck is crafted from 14x Essential Alchemic, 3x Ingenious Alchemic, and 10x Gory Amalgam.

Spirit Raisins[]

Increased duration from 60 seconds to 180 seconds.

Withered Twig[]

• Afflicts you with Death Blight, but also the Sacrificial Twig effect, preventing rune loss. This provides a way to return to your most recent site of grace safely even when warping is not allowed.
• Acquired from the new Nomadic Warrior's Cookbook [25], found in Stormveil Castle shortly past the Rampart Tower site of grace.

Miscellaneous Consumables changes[]

Warming Stone/Frenzy Stone[]

• Added a small amount of%-based regeneration to the existing flat regeneration.
• This% healing is much less powerful on enemies.
  • This allows Warming/Frenzy Stones to better heal spirit ashes who typically have multiple times more HP than the player, and also provides a small benefit to extremely high HP players.

Arcane-knot Crystal Tear[]

Boosts Arcane by 8 for 540 seconds.

Found at the Rose Church in Liurnia of the Lakes.

Ceruleanspill Crystal Tear[]

Boosts Max FP by 25% for 180 seconds.

Dropped by the Blighted Avatar boss in the Deeproot Depths.

Viridian Hidden Tear[]

Decreases Stamina Cost for weapon attacks by 50% for 30 seconds.

Now decreases FP Cost by 65% for 15 seconds (100% for 10 seconds in vanilla).

Now boosts HP Regen by 0.25% + 3 per second (0% + 7 per second in vanilla).

Crimsonspill Crystal Tear[]

Now boosts Max HP by 15% for 180 seconds (10% in vanilla).

Knot Crystal Tear (Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Faith)[]

Now boosts Strength (Strength-Knot) / Dexterity (Dexterity-Knot) / Intelligence (Intelligence-Knot) / Faith (Faith-Knot) by 8 for 540 seconds (10 for 180 seconds in vanilla).

Opaline Bubbletear[]

Now boosts final damage resistance by 95% for 60 seconds (90% for 180 seconds in vanilla), and final poise damage reduction by 66.7% (not present in vanilla).

Opaline Hardtear[]

Now boosts All Damage Negation by 10% for 180 seconds (15% in vanilla).

Stonebarb Cracked Tear[]

Now boosts Poise Damage by 15% for 60 seconds (30% for 30 seconds in vanilla).

Spiked Cracked Tear[]

Now boosts All Attack Power by 12% for 180 seconds (15% in vanilla).

Shrouding Cracked Tear (Flame, Magic, Lightning, Holy)[]

Now boosts Fire Attack Power (Flame-Shrouding) \ Magic Attack Power (Magic-Shrouding) \ Lightning Attack Power (Lightning-Shrouding) \ Holy Attack Power (Holy-Shrouding) by 11% for 180 seconds (20% in vanilla).

Viridianspill Crystal Tear[]

Now boosts Max Stamina by 20% for 180 seconds (15% in vanilla).

Windy Cracked Tear[]

Now boosts dodge travel distance by 20% (not present in vanilla), and i-frames during roll but at the cost of 15% final damage vulnerability.

Now stacks additively with the Crucible Feather Talisman for a total of 25% dodge travel distance.

Has no effect on the Shura difficulty mode.

Winged Crystal Tear[]

Now boosts Equip Load by 50% for 180 seconds (350% in vanilla).
