Dylan O'Brien first came to prominence back in 2011 when he appeared in the film, High Road. The actor quickly rose to fame following his time on Teen Wolf and his hit film franchise, The Maze Runner.

The actor recently sparked interest in his friendship with Logan Lerman, leaving fans to want the duo to appear on-screen together. While his bromance with Logan remains a huge focus, Dylan's former relationship was all anyone could talk about!

With his career cementing his A-list status in the industry, it's only fitting that Dylan's relationship is front and center, too. The star had been dating fellow actress, Britt Robertson, however, things went awry back in 2018, sparking fans to wonder why!

Although they spent six years together,r they officially called it quits in 2018. While Dylan O'Brien appears to be single today, he's recently been linked to Sarah Ramos. Prior to the rumors, Dylan dated Chloe Grace Moretz, all while Britt Roberson moved on to KJ Apa in 2019, however, the duo called it quits shortly after. Dylan is now set to appear in a handful of on-screen works, including his upcoming films The Outfit, and Maximum Truth.

How Dylan & Britt Met

Celebrity couples always make the biggest splash on the front-page media. Teen Wolf’s Dylan O’Brien sure made the front cover news when he started dating fellow actress Britt Robertson.

The two first met on the film set of the 2012 movieThe First Time.Ironically enough, the film itself dealt with two teens who meet by chance at a high school party and the sparks immediately flew between them.

It’s clear to see that the two shared immediate chemistry. Though, O’Brien and Robertson’s on-screen attraction carried offset. The actors went from being long-time friends to lovers soon after starring in a film together.

Rather than it being just an ordinary fling, the actors dated for a total of six years. Nothing like a teen love story to inspire a real-life romance.

The Love-Birds Breakup

Apparently, long-lasting relationships don’t always lead to marriage. In some cases, couples can still experience issues. Take for example Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth; the two married each other after dating for ten years.

Despite having been in a long-term relationship, The Last Song co-stars spent the better half of their relationship breaking up and making up. Of course, everyone saw that relationship heading for a disaster, and they were right!

However, fans didn’t count on celebrity couple Britt Robertson and Dylan O’Brien breaking up, at least not as soon as they did!

Sources don’t know for sure what broke the young couple apart, however,Celeb Tatter reports that the couple split because they had already begun seeing other people.

Additionally, O’Brien revealed before their breakup that “he wanted to get lost with his love.” While The Maze Runner actor comes off as more of the spontaneous lover, Robertson sang a different tune.

The actress admitted that she disliked “appearing on-screen with her then-boyfriend and it made her nervous.” Behind the scenes, the two actors had issues. They apparently wanted different things out of their relationship. Ultimately, the two couldn’t fulfill the other’s needs.

Dylan O'Brien Moves On

It came as a shock to fans when Teen Wolf’s Dylan O’Brien and Britt Robertson broke up in 2018. Even more surprising, the two seemingly had moved on from each other right after they split, making it seem like those six years spent supposedly in bliss hadn’t meant all that much. Strange how Hollywood romance works!

As mentioned before, the couple had engaged in seeing other people before their official breakup was announced. Apparently, they were more than eager to move on from each other.

Furthermore, sources reported that Dylan O’Brien moved on with his long-time crush, actress Chloe Grace Moretz.

According to DailyMail, the actors always had maintained a “friendly relationship” over the years, which probably didn’t go over well with Robertson. With O’Brien back on the dating market, the two were more than willing to try out their new romance.

Just like his time with Robertson, Dylan and Chloe were soon over, however, it appears as if Dylan is now sparking new dating rumors involving Sarah Ramos. While fans aren't so convinced that he's in a relationship, a few have mentioned they might be seeing one another after they both recreated a The Social Network seen together on Instagram.

In the meantime, fans have been focused more on Dylan's most recent time hanging out with fellow actor, Logan Lerman, leading fans to call for the duo to finally be in a movie together!

Although his dating life remains up in the air, one thing that doesn't is his career! Dylan remains at the top of his game as he readies his two upcoming projects, Maximum Truth, Infinite, and The Outfit, to name a few!

As for Britt, the actress found herself linked to Riverdale star, KJ Apa, however, that relationship remains no more!
