Where is it
Located on the private island of Maafushi. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 40 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

The whole experience was fabulous. From the moment we landed at Male Airport, the RIU staff looked after us. Our room was spacious and opened onto the beach, we loved the his n her basins in the shower room, lovely walk to the pool and restaurant areas reminiscent of walking through a jungle with the greenery and the friendliness of the staff who always greeted you whether they were gardening, driving the golf carts or delivering fresh towels etc. The resort is spotless and the staff work tireless to ensure that your stay is first class. We picked this hotel as it had some activities and we weren’t disappointed. The Entertainment Crew were great fun and worked hard to ensure that those who wanted to join in got the most of what they had to offer. Special shout out to Ashen with his French Bowls, Aqua gym, afternoon bingo and water polo to name just a few. His larger than life personality, constant smile and energetic vibes was brilliant and he’s a great asset for the hotel. Would we go back? Absolutely. Read less

I highly recommend RIU Atoll, everything was very well organized, transfers to and from the island. We had a direct beach access room, which we loved, and the service was great! I will surely come back, hopefully soon.

We traveled at the beginning of the off-season in Mai. The weather was good and we enjoyed the service and the beautiful overwater villa. It was amazing to wake-up with the ocean in front. We want to highlight the extraordinary animation team, especially the sessions with Ashen. We loved the TRX and healthy back sessions. He made a really good job in motivating and explaining. Furthermore, all the yoga sessions, e.g. paddle yoga or aero yoga.We would definitely come again and enjoyed our honeymoon. Read less

From arriving at Male, the secretive from RIU was first class. The staff at the resort were excellent and worked tirelessly to ensure you had a great holiday. It was perfect and the balance of activities suited us.
